Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2012 East Brunswick Road Races a success! We look forward to seeing you next year!
In an effort to shape a healthier future for the community, the township of East Brunswick has designated October as “Family Fitness” month. To support this initiative, the Raritan Valley Road Runners in conjunction with the East Brunswick Department of Recreation & Community Services are hosting the East Brunswick Road Races.
This unique small town event was established in 1978 to help promote fitness and lend support to local non-profit organizations. We anticipate several hundred runners to race through the tree-lined neighborhoods of East Brunswick.
Non-runners and families can also enjoy the festivities by enter the 1 Mile Fun Run. Our Pumpkin Dashes for children ages 2-10 round out the day with over 75 smiling kids running around the baseball fields.
Proceeds benefit Team in Training, an organization of athletes dedicated to participating in events across the country on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the East Brunswick Rescue Squad, a fully-volunteer emergency rescue service squad.
